…the Columbus Board of REALTORS® spoke… THE VOICE of R. E. round these parts..
“The average sale price of 1,072 was 7.3 percent higher than in February of 2011, and 5.7 percent higher than the previous month according to the Columbus Board of REALTORS®.”
…the Columbus Board of REALTORS® spoke…
Today CBR released February 2012 results…. they are “THE VOICE” because they’ve trademarked a phrase that says they are. I think NAR is “THE VOICE” nationally, so local boards would be “THE VOICE” locally?
CBR reports and the market reports I do are different because I worry mostly about single family home sales (occasionally throwing in a condo market report for good measure) while the the Columbus Board of REALTORS®.
Our “mls” (multiple listing service of the Columbus Boar of REALTORS® serves all of Franklin, Delaware, Fayette, Licking, Madison, Morrow, Pickaway and Union Counties and pieces of Athens, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Fairfield, Hocking, Knox, Logan, Marion, Muskingum, Perry and Ross Counties.

Saturday, March 17th, 2012
Remember to Spring Forward Central Ohio. Overnight we will lose an hour.
We have such a mild winter but still sunshine in the evening and even more warm weather will be nice.
This is Daylight Savings Time right? More light in the evening? This confuses me twice a year. I was looking for a postcard that said “Spring Forward. “ I am sure I have used one before.
The image is an old Real Living ecard. The old Real Living, before the big ole merger. The Real Living based in Columbus Ohio, the company that sprung from HER Realtors, and two other Ohio brokerages. The new Real Living looks a little different. I like the bright colors of the old Real Living. I am an agent with Real Living HER, formerly known as HER Realtors.

365 Things to do in Columbus, Ohio: Happy Anniversary
Saturday, March 10th, 2012Happy Anniversary to 365 Things to do in Columbus, Ohio a Facebook page.
According to the new Facebook timeline for that page on Facebook, the page started March 9, 2010.
I could not remember if ’365 Things to do in Columbus, Ohio’ started in 2009 or 2010. Someone asked for the list the other day… joking?
Joking? Right?
This past week the ’365 Things to do in Columbus Ohio’ page reached 800 “Fans” or Likers or whatever they are known as. Doing a ’365 Things to do in….” page on Facebook was inspired by other real estate agents all over the country starting ’365 Things to do in….” pages. My Columbus page was inspired by the likes of Dale Chumbley’s ’365 Things to do in Vancouver WA’ page… Dale’s page has 16,368 “Fans” or Likers or whatever we call ‘em now.
I did not really plan to do 365 Things straight in one year (and did not!) but there are way more things than 365 on the Facebook page, in the past two years. Originally I thought it would take about 3 or 4 years to compile a list of ’365 Things to do in Columbus, Ohio.’ After I saw Dale and others doing a “Thing to do” each day I tried to keep up.
A publisher started another page on Facebook, using the ’365 Things to do in …..’ theme along with their “daily deals.” That publisher started a Columbus page a few weeks later… that page has 13,501 “Fans” or Likers or whatever they are called.
What is there to do in Columbus this weekend? The St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Dublin, is Saturday, March 10, 2012. More info on ExperienceColumbus.com or the City of Dublin sites. There is a link to Dublin’s festivities on the ’365 Things to do in Columbus Ohio’ page on Facebook. Like it?
Other things to do in central Ohio this weekend? Always look on the ExperienceColumbus.com site.
